Whether you use Google Talk, AIM, MSN, Yahoo Messenger or Jabber, IMified can help you stay organized without leaving your IM window. Just head over to IMified.com and find out the contact information for your service of choice.
Create a buddy/contact for IFified, and send it a message. Doesn’t matter what it is, your reply will be the same. You will immediately receive a welcome message, with links to your account settings, services and shortcuts. Fastest account creation ever!

IMified currently supports 15 different services, from Google Calendar and 30 Boxes to 37 Signal’s Backpack to Blogger and WordPress. Set up as many services as you like. I just have my Google Calendar and WordPress set up, though I will be adding more in the future as needed. In fact, I am writing this blog post in my Gmail chat window, though there will be some editing needing for sure.
You can also set up shortcuts to each service. Currently “M” is the shortcut to the Main Menu, and you can set up other short cuts to your other services if you like, or just rely on the main menu for navigation.

You will notice, I have my Calendar set up in there, so I send my buddy a message to check out my Google Calendar:

While it is a bit limited, this allows me to check out what is upcoming without launching the calendar. I can also add items to the calendar, though it does take two steps, one for naming the item, the second for the date and time.
IMified does far more than this, and I hope to cover a few more tricks in the next few days. Oh, and IMified does work on iChat, if that is your IM of preference.
